I created thetravellingpara.com because disability can happen to anyone, at any time, and it should never be the end of your travel dreams or your independence.
I aim to share real, lived-experience advice that helps wheelchair users travel with confidence, plan properly, and protect what matters most: their mobility, dignity, and freedom.
It also highlights the importance of travel insurance. Thankfully, before my accident, I had taken out cover with Australian-owned Fast Cover, which proved to be an absolute lifeline when I needed it most.
Travel doesn’t stop because life changes; sometimes it just needs a different approach.
